This feels so surreal for the seed my father planted years ago saying “Girl one day you just might make something out of this” which was usually after one of my treats made in my turquoise Easy Bake oven, manifest before me. To be right here right now introducing my treats to the world is such a phenomenal dream come true. Me wanting my dad to be proud of me while at the same time honoring my mom made me work harder towards perfecting different snacks, treats and dishes. My dad liked my lemon-meringue pie and my mom touched a lot of peoples heart with her cooking. You see at the age of twelve I had to  help my siblings take care of my parents up until God saw fit to call them home and during that time I learned discipline which built my character and created in me this new found strength that made me hunger for more knowledge as I found myself developing into a nurturer. I didn’t realize how so many things we consume in our bodies effect different parts of our bodies in both good and bad ways. Nuts 2 Go actually got started with me just baking or creating dishes for weddings, pot lucks, anniversaries, birthdays, sick and shut in, etc. Cooking is my passion. I am always thinking of a new way to bring a new flavor to an old dish. All of a sudden the phone is ringing and people are actually asking me the price for this and that.
